Synolite ® 2020 Lloyd Approved Resin
Synolite 2020-P-1 is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, Orthophthalic Resin. We find this resin most suitable as it has a low heat build up and wets out the mat very quickly. It also cures moderately fast, after the laminating is finished. Being Lloyds approved it is suitable for marine use, boat repair and maintenance.

A single coat of Gel coat is applied to give a uniform film of approximately 0.4 -
0.5mm thickness. As a guide, the amount of gel coat required to achieve this
thickness is roughly 450 - 600gm/m2.
